CBC Holding Ltd. (“CBC”) is an established owner and long-term charterer of dry cargo vessels with over twenty years of history in the industry. The company has a strong Italian heritage with the owners of the company also active in the global steel industry.
CBC is a privately owned shipping company with all strategic decisions being made by our board, which is made up of shareholder representatives, independent board members and executives from CTM.Â
Our Fleet
CBC owns four and charters-in one, high quality Japanese-built bulk carriers of between 50,000 and 180,000 deadweight tonnage (dwt). They total 440,457 dwt and have an average age of 10 years. In addition to the aforementioned vessels, CBC has a financial interest in a further five vessels (mix of Supramaxes, Ultramaxes and Kamsarmaxes). CBC has a proud history with Japanese trading houses, from where we have sourced around 20 long-term charter-in vessels with purchase options since the early 2000s.
Expert Management by
C Transport Maritime SAM is the exclusive manager of our fleet, performing all operations, including commercial, technical, and administrative management. This partnership with CTM grants us access to Japanese owners and trading houses from where most of our fleet has been sourced. We have also been fortunate, via this partnership, to have also had access to financing from Japanese banks enabling us to strategically grow our fleet.
